Meet Josh Want

Josh Want is a seasoned real estate professional with more than a decade of experience helping clients successfully navigate the Greater Houston market. With deep roots in The Woodlands, where he has lived for over 21 years, Josh offers local insight, strategic thinking, and a personalized approach that sets him apart.

A graduate of the University of Houston’s prestigious Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, ranked number one by The Princeton Review, Josh brings a strong business and marketing background to his real estate career. Before entering the industry full time in 2012, he led corporate communications and business development efforts for national firms, including the launch of a $30 million public education campaign focused on recycling and environmental innovation. These experiences shaped his reputation as a thoughtful communicator, trusted advisor, and creative strategist—qualities his clients rely on throughout every step of the buying and selling process.

Josh began investing in real estate more than a decade ago and quickly became the go-to resource for friends, family, and colleagues. Since then, he has helped hundreds of families, professionals, and investors achieve their real estate goals across Greater Houston. His work has earned him recognition as one of the Top Agents in Houston by Real Producers Magazine, and his success is grounded in a passion for smart investing, effective marketing, and creating a stress-free client experience.

Josh lives on a one-acre homestead in The Woodlands with his wife Meagan, whom he has been blessed to share life with for the past 15 years, along with their three wonderful children. Outside of work, Josh enjoys playing acoustic guitar, woodworking, running, golf, hiking, travel, and photography. These hobbies not only reflect his creative side but also keep him connected to nature and the vibrant lifestyle of the community he serves.

At Corcoran Genesis, Josh brings a unique blend of experience, integrity, and enthusiasm to every transaction. Whether you are buying your first home, selling a luxury property, or building an investment portfolio, Josh provides the insight and execution needed to help you succeed with confidence.
